South River Sojourn and Wade-In

Paddle to begin around 9:00am / picnic at 11:00 / Wade-In at 12:00

This year's paddle will begin and end from the community beach at Harbor Hills, in the beautiful South River headwaters!  There's plenty of parking at the beach and in the community - so load up your kayak, paddles and PFDs and meet us Saturday, June 26th for this fun event!  We'll paddle around for a couple of hours, then gather on the beach for a picnic and Bernie Fowler-style wade in.  Picnic is made possible by contributions from the Lower Western Shore Tributary Team, Whole Foods, SeaWatch International and Chesapeake Bay Roasting Company.

Call Annapolis Canoe and Kayak if you don't have your own kayak - tell them what event you are renting for to get a discount on your rental.  The Federation will take care of transporting rented kayaks from ACK to the beach and back. 

Be sure you RSVP with us if you rent kayaks.
